Barrel Racing
Does your dog dog love to run?  Do you want your dog to burn of some excess energy?   Barrel racing is a relatively new sport in the United States.  Big dogs, small dogs ALL DOGS can participate in this sport.  Dogs learn to run around barrels in a clover leave pattern. Barrel racing competitions are being planned, but  at this point, the only competition is  against your last run.  See if each time your dog runs the barrels she can improve her time. if you are running agility and having problems with distance work, barrel racing may help.  Teaching your dog to go out around a barrel should transfer to "Go out to that obstacle."

Bowling for Howlers
Bowling is a coordination skill and it also works on neck strength and flexibility. A lot of self-control is requires on the dog's part because the dog's actions must be very precise to perform the task correctly. Bowling helps dogs learn not to stress about falling objects and other sudden movements that spool some dogs. It is also a lot of fun for both dog and handler.

Flyball
This is a fast action relay race where teams race against each other, running over hurdles to grab a ball from a box and bring it to their handler. This class will teach your dog how to grab the ball, to jump over the hurdles and to pass another dog. This is a wild and crazy game. If you have a dog with lots of energy,
Flyball may be his/her game. barking is not only allowed – it’s encouraged!

Treibball (Ball Herding)
Do you have a dog that loves balls and/or loves to herd? Then this class might be just what your dog is asking for. Teach your dog to roll balls, using his/her nose and shoulders, into a goal. This sport started in Germany and is quickly sweeping the globe! Ball crazy dogs LOVE Treibball!

Nosework
A dog’s nose is an amazing instrument. Some dogs can detect gas leaks eighteen feet under the ground. Others can find bombs or drugs that are hidden, while other dogs can detect cancer or low blood sugars. Teach your dog to use his/her nose to find different scents or objects that are hidden in various places and inside different objects. Maybe even learn a card trick!
